imo its way to easy for ppl to ebay the cash to buy FoW armor SO increase the price or materials needed

increase the price of each peice to 1mill or up the amount of ecto/shard(this will stop the "casual" ebayer)

you might think im crazy but FoW armor use to be exclusive now you cant even go to place like piken without seeing a set

this shall bring many flames..i see it already, think before you post.

You make it sound as if you could make the 1 million gold needed for a FoW set by farming in Old Ascalon.

Getting 1 mil gold is NOT EASY. It still is exclusive.

Wow, I'm playing this game since the release and I've never seen a FoW armor except for screenshots. That is, I've probably seen plenty of them but I didn't care enough to notice, because the only person that gives a flying f*ck about somebody's FoW armor is the owner.

LOL, and you know what? I do agree! Ok i play for one year now and since i play mostly with my warrior i know very well how FoW armor looks and have seen it dozens of times if not more often.

Besides the warrior armor however i wouldn't recognize any FoW armor without taking a close look.

And come one, it's good for nothing! Everybody wearing FoW armor is a nerd in my opinion anyway

I will never get FOW armor nor am I even trying to and your suggestion to make it even more overpriced is one of the dumbest ideas ever.

I have FoW armor and it makes me feel uber-leet and special. But now I've noticed that OTHER people have it to. What the hell is this travesty? How can this be? Why are other people allowed to have the leetest armor? Only *I* should have it. I'm not unique or special anymore if *anyone* can get it. So I insist that the price be made outrageous so that only I and the few others who already have it will be more special and better than everyone else.

And disagree, I feel if you jack the price up, it will cause people to buy MORE gold because some people have to have it and they not above ebay.

It was no longer "exclusive" when you could do targeted farming for specific drops (UW/Stormbows) for example (a very long time ago) before Anet had to mix things up.

i see it a different way because gold is like $50 or w/e increasing the cost of more desired items will stop the kiddies using their pocket money

In any case...prices are fine as they are, not everyone is able to buy FoW armor, it DOES actually cost over 1mill....not everyone can afford it.

Me having 2 sets of it...pfft...i couldnt care less if more ppl got them or not...i got them for the look, not to feel special or to show of the fact that i have more money then most ppl...

OK. I have FoW armor - on one of my 5 characters. (Does that make me rich?) I got it for my female Mesmer because I think it looks much better and more practical than the 1.5k & 15k enchanters (Victoria's Secret) "armor." And I farmed my butt off to earn it.

It's hard to raise enough cash & materials using in-game, legitimate means. Jacking up the price will only encourage E-Baying & wrongfully penalize those people who are willing to WORK for their high-end armor & stuff.

One huge reason why more people have FoW armor is because they've had the time(over a year now) to accumulate the wealth to afford it.

I got two full sets of FoW armor in 7 months + have made over 10 million platinum in the little amount of time i play each day. So no point in making it more expensive. There's plenty of ways to make money. Ppl just have to use their brains. When they do they can afford just about anything

another good post..

i myself know ppl who ebayed their fissure and yes they were all wammos and school kids

i disagree with the fact its hard to raise the cash...back when the game was released it was hard now days with the increased drop rate money is free flowing (got my fissure when ecto was 8k per tho i farmed/traded all my ecto so my armor cost 60k)

as i see it raise the price of these desired items and this in turn lowers the amount of ebayers..i dont see anyone agree with me tho..oh well

Translation : I had no idea you could farm 1 mil 2-manning uw while ecto prices were high, without even really putting in effort.

FoW is for style, not for some pride issue.
